Clearance values with ABSORBICA-I and Y depending on your situation

Clearance: the clearance, as presented in the Instructions for Use for the ABSORBICA, is the amount of clear space required below the user’s feet to avoid hitting an obstacle in a fall. This value is useful for progression with multiple anchors (e.g. towers, theatrical structures…).

Minimum anchor height: depending on the clearance, there is a minimum anchor height required to prevent the user from hitting an obstacle in a fall. This value is useful for working on lifelines or fixed-height anchors, and for anchor installers.

Fall: the fall distance depends on the lanyard length and on the user’s position relative to the anchor.
