In conjunction with transmission line rope access pioneer, Reed Thorne of Ropes That Rescue and other western utilities like Pacific Gas & Electric, Yates has designed the 390FA harness to meet the needs of the transmission tower worker who is now utilizing rope access techniques. It also excels as a technical and rope rescue harness. The 390 RTR Harness is designed and recommended for helicopter external load short haul work. Wide anatomical waist pad for increased comfort and added back support. Modular work/tool pouch system allows the user to customize each harness to their own arrangement. Easily adjustable for variations in clothing by use of camlock buckles. Attachment points at waist, hips, chest, back (lumbar) and back (dorsal). Extra-large, side positioning rings (lineman style) allow the user to easily make connections to the safety belt. Chest harness specifically designed to incorporate a chest ascender (not included) for tower access work and is specially tailored to reduce chafing of the neck. Weight 6 lb. 11 oz. Removable contoured shoulder pads included with standard 390 Harness. Also available in Kevlar webbing version for welding at height (item 390K). Petzl S & L Auxillary Caiitool Tool Holders and Yates Tool Holsters sold separately.
